As a seasoned Construction Manager and General Contracting firm, UJAMAA provides all of the necessary staff and support services for day-to-day project activities, as well as overall program coordination with the Owner, Architect, Engineer and subcontractors. Our scope of services includes pre-construction, design/build and design/assist services, construction management and general construction.

UJAMAA is signatory through the Mid-American Regional Bargaining Association (MARBA) to the Carpenters and Laborers Union and we have the capacity and expertise to self-perform selective demolition and carpentry work on projects. As an added benefit to Owners, UJAMAA is also a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) firm as well as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) with the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois. In 2009, the federal government’s Small Business Administration (SBA) designated UJAMAA as an 8(a) certified firm.
