In early February, UJAMAA Construction had its first All Staff Meeting of 2023. It was a time to reflect and commune while setting goals for the upcoming year. We started by recognizing new hires as well as promotions within the company. A few trivia questions were sprinkled throughout to be answered by everyone. Ron Lewis congratulated the team on an excellent year safety-wise that should result in an even lower EMR score as well as debuted our new hardhats. DEI and Marketing thanked everyone for an amazing 2022 and continuing to spread “The UJAMAA Way.” Les Bates and the Project Executive team gave updates on upcoming projects and opportunities within operations. There were a few updates from Accounting and Back of House and our CEO Jimmy Akintonde closed things out by thanking everyone for the fantastic work we continue to do and what is to come for 2023.
